Kanak Skull Takers Meaning

I have an IG Basilisk.

I was making a Kanak Skull-takers army at the time and made a decision to go ridiculously over-board with the, 'skull,' theme.

For the Basilisk, this meant the first step of adding a resin skull I cut down and mounted on its front with the cannon poking through a slot in the head (the cannon can raise and lower.)

The giant skull replaces the gun shield and actually takes up most of the front area of the vehicle between the tracks (so – Driver/Storm Bolter gunner no visibility.)

Anyways… the rules changed regarding 'Warrior Weapons' as a IG option (yep, it was *THAT* long ago I started this), and I gave up on the army. Now many years later I wanting to sell this thing (and the rest of my 'Skull Takers.')

The opinion I seek is… should I chaosify this by adding a few icons or trophy racks and sell it as Traitor-IG or keep it, 'plain,' as-is?

It may appeal wider leaving it as-is, but adding the icons may increase the perceived value to a Traitor-IG player.

It is currently fully assembled and in black primer.

I have the new Imperial Armor vol.13 and the traitor Basilisk is a Heavy Support option in there. I'd say leave it as is, that way whoever purchases it can 'mark' it to fit their particular army (I.E. Tzeentch/Slaanesh etc.). Just my opinion.

If you are going to sell it, sell it as is – that allows for more options on the part of the buyer – plus less work for you

For any 40k unit, unless an upgrade can make it an extra-desairable flavor-of-the-month unit, or an essential core unit, I'd always err on the side of leaving more options to the buyer.

Leave it as is.

Yep, left it – thanks all (its in the Marketplace now.)
